Shen Receives Supplement for Program Optimizations

Dr. Xipeng Shen, associate professor of computer science, has been awarded supplemental funding by IBM Canada Limited to support his research proposal titled “Context-Award Correlation-Based Program Optimizations.”
 
Abstract – In this project, we propose to build up context-aware correlation-based program optimizations, a new way to tackle context sensitivity in code specializations that effectively removes some limitations in current compiler technology.
